Bakery Policies

Thank you for choosing Specialty Cakes by Morgan! To ensure a smooth ordering process and the highest quality experience for every client, please review the following policies before placing your order.

Ordering & Deposits

• A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to reserve your event date and begin the design process.

• Orders are not considered confirmed until the deposit has been received.

• The remaining balance is due no later than 1 day prior to your event date.

• Failure to submit final payment by the due date may result in cancellation of your order.

Cancellations & Credits

• Deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances.

• Orders canceled within 3 days of the event date are not eligible for refunds.

• In the event of a cancellation within 3 days of the event, any payments made beyond the deposit amount may be applied as a credit toward a future cake order.

• Future credits are non-transferable and must be used within 12 months unless otherwise agreed upon.

Tastings & Tasters

• Taster cakes are offered as 4” single-tier naked-style rounds.

• Pricing ranges from $12–15 per flavor selection.

• All tastings and tasters must be paid in full prior to pickup.

• Taster availability may be limited during peak wedding and holiday seasons.

Delivery & Setup

• Delivery and setup services are available for all cakes.

• Delivery pricing is based on location, mileage, venue accessibility, and setup time required.

• Once a cake has been delivered and set up, responsibility for the cake transfers to the client or venue representative.

• Specialty Cakes by Morgan is not responsible for damage occurring after setup due to weather, venue conditions, transportation by others, or guest handling.

Bundling Discount

• Clients with an existing wedding cake order of equal or greater value are eligible for a 10% discount on pre-event desserts and cakes, including:

  • Groom’s cakes

  • Bridal shower cakes

  • Bachelor/bachelorette party desserts

  • Related pre-wedding celebration treats

• Discount applies only to qualifying orders placed under the same client/event.

Design & Creative Rights

• While inspiration photos are welcome, all cakes are custom creations and exact replicas cannot be guaranteed.

• Artistic interpretation may vary slightly due to medium, color matching, seasonal materials, and handmade detailing.

• Specialty Cakes by Morgan reserves the right to make minor design adjustments when necessary for structural integrity or artistic quality.

Allergens & Dietary Disclaimer

• Products are prepared in a kitchen that may process common allergens including, but not limited to, wheat, dairy, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, soy, and gluten.

• While reasonable precautions are taken, Specialty Cakes by Morgan cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

Pickup Responsibility

• Clients assume full responsibility for cakes once picked up.

• Cakes should be transported on a flat surface in a temperature-controlled vehicle.

• Damage occurring after pickup is not the responsibility of Specialty Cakes by Morgan.

Photography & Marketing

• Specialty Cakes by Morgan reserves the right to photograph completed cakes and desserts for portfolio, website, and social media use unless otherwise requested in writing prior to the event.

Weather & Outdoor Events

• Cakes displayed outdoors are subject to weather-related risks including melting, shifting, and structural damage.

• Buttercream and fondant products are especially sensitive to heat, humidity, sunlight, and uneven surfaces.

• Specialty Cakes by Morgan is not liable for weather-related damage after delivery or setup.

Serving Sizes

• Serving estimates are based on industry-standard portion sizes and may vary depending on how the cake is cut.
